How do I purchase labs through Transcend?

Simply browse through the labs available on our website, and add your desired lab to your cart. Complete your order through our secure checkout, and check your email for confirmation and next steps.

What happens after I purchase a lab test through your website?

Once your purchase is complete, our physicians will create a form that requests your specific tests from our friends at LabCorp. This requisition form is necessary to proceed with testing, and you will receive an email with your LabCorp Requisition form within 1-3
business days. Contact your local LabCorp lab to schedule an appointment, then print out the LabCorp requisition and bring it along with a valid driver’s license to your LabCorp appointment. 

Where are my test samples collected?

Test samples will be collected at your local LabCorp. Once you receive your lab requisition form from our providers, you can schedule an appointment and have your samples collected at LabCorp.

Do I need to pay anything at LabCorp?

No, you have already paid for the lab services through Transcend. LabCorp should not request any additional payment or insurance information from you at the time of service.

Can I use my health insurance to cover these lab panels?

These lab panels are private pay and not eligible for coverage by health insurance.

How do I schedule an appointment with LabCorp?

You can schedule an appointment through LabCorps website.

Is there preparation required before the lab test?

To ensure accurate results, please follow these guidelines:

  • Fast for 10-12 hours before the test, and consume only water.
  • Take all medications prescribed for conditions such as diabetes and hypertension in the morning of the blood draw.
  • If you take oral hormones, take them at least 4 hours before your blood draw.
  • If you use injectable hormones like testosterone, schedule your blood draw at least four days after your last injection. 

How long will it take to receive my results?

You can expect to receive your blood test results within 7-10 business days. 

How do I access my test results?

When your results are ready, you'll get an email notifying you that they have been uploaded to your patient account. To access your results, you will need to create an account with LabCorp. Please click on the following link to create your account: LabCorp Patient Portal.

Will my lab results be reviewed by Transcends medical team?

Your lab results will not be reviewed automatically by our med team, unless you sign up for our annual concierge service with your test purchase. If you would like your results reviewed by our med-team, please reach out to us to sign up for concierge health services.
